Motor orders are scheduled until the end of April! Changli Electric's production is in full swing, and all employees have entered the "overtime mode"

"During this time, there were a large number of orders, and we still had dozens of motors to be delivered a year ago, and workers were racing against time to catch up with production." Mao Qiang, production supervisor of Changsha Changli Electric Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Changli Electric"), said that since 2024, the company's motor orders have been "soaring" and have always maintained a steady growth trend.
On the 21st, the reporter stepped into the Changli Electric production workshop located in Tianxin Economic Development Zone, where there was no leisure and relaxation of the approaching Spring Festival, and what caught his eye was a busy scene.
All employees turn on "overtime mode"
In the workshop, more than 60 skilled workers are proficient in the assembly line, large machines are running at full capacity, and a large number of produced motors are waiting to be loaded and shipped to various places.
At this time, Mao Qiang was busy shuttling between the production line and the assembly line. He sometimes stops to solve difficult problems for skilled workers, sometimes leans over to guide the key details of motor production and assembly in detail, and sometimes he will personally participate in the production when the workers are busy.
"Every morning at 8 a.m., I arrive at the workshop on time and basically spend the whole day with the technical workers." Mao Qiang said that the company had just completed the delivery of more than 200 motors in January, and had to complete the delivery of nearly 60 orders a year ago.
In Changli Electric, it takes about two months for a large motor to complete the test from production, assembly to completion. "No matter how urgent the order is, we must not reduce the quality of the product because of the rush period." Adhering to this concept, Mao Qiang led skilled workers to optimize the production process, reasonably adjust working hours, and make full use of digital equipment to ensure that orders are delivered on time. In order to catch up with the schedule, everyone consciously turned on the "overtime mode", "Recently, we have to be busy until eight or nine o'clock in the evening before getting off work".
The master "does one step and thinks three steps"
Hu Linxu, general manager of Changli Electric, said that in 2024, the company's annual revenue will increase by nearly 40 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10%; The output of motors increased by 20% year-on-year, an increase of nearly 400 units. The company has also successfully developed new products such as high-speed motors and permanent magnet motors. "At present, our orders have been scheduled until the end of April this year."
As a manufacturing enterprise focusing on the production of medium and large motors, Changli Electric has won a good reputation for technological innovation and excellent quality, and is favored by customers. In this regard, Mao Qiang was deeply touched. "A large motor is made up of hundreds of parts, and even if one screw is not tightened, or the stator is stained with excess oil, it may affect the efficiency of the entire motor." He said that the production of motors requires the ultimate "craftsman spirit", and Changli Electric has many experienced masters.
"Master Guo on our assembly line has worked in Changli Electric for more than 30 years and knows the assembly process well." Mao Qiang introduced that there are still many technical backbones like Master Guo in the company. They are highly skilled and experienced, and they always "do one step and think three steps" when working. "If you are not skilled in technology and unfamiliar with the process, I am afraid that it will take an hour to sort out these complex lines."
Enterprises have a set of retaining people
With the surge in orders, can the company's production capacity keep up with the rhythm? In the face of reporters' questions, Hu Linxu confidently said that the company's current production tasks still have a margin of nearly 30%, and if the construction period is reasonably adjusted, the output can be increased by another 50%.
"We have to come back on the fourth day of the first lunar month, and there are nearly 300 motors waiting to be delivered in February." Mao Qiang said that despite his busy work, in the past year or so, the company's benefits have been good, the treatment of employees is guaranteed, there is hope for work and life, and the happiness index is also high.
Mao Qiang, 45, from Loudi, Hunan Province, has been working and living in Changsha for more than 20 years, starting a family in Changsha and having two children. "Although there are still some mortgages to be repaid, the family's small life is enjoyable and stable."
Enterprises can retain talents, and Changsha can retain people's hearts.
The reporter learned that in the production workshop managed by Mao Qiang, half of the skilled workers come from all over the country, and fresh blood is injected every year. "The company's corporate culture is good, and Changsha's urban environment is excellent, so our team of skilled workers is quite stable." Mao Qiang said proudly.
